Welcome to my site. My name is Yogesh Bhatkhande, I am a UX Director in the Bay Area with a passion for UX strategy and operations. I manage a global team of designers and researchers partnering with our customers to simplify complex business problems using design.

I have a customer facing role where I regularly engage with executives to understand the big picture. Over the past couple of decades I have worked with companies and clients from industries like Healthcare, Retail, Consumer Electronics, Banking, Technology, Transportation, etc. on a wide variety of design projects. 

 

I take a User Centered approach to setting design strategy, learning about end users and working with stakeholders. After establishing an approach, I work with my team to deliver on project commitments through all phases, managing expectations along the way. I most enjoy complex system design projects where I can leverage my past experience to identify pathways to build empathy with end users of the system and create simple, aesthetically pleasing design solutions.

I have nurtured and grown design teams that espouse a culture of inclusivity and collaboration with stakeholders from external domains like business and technology. My design process encourages and enables this healthy interaction because I strongly believe that a collaborative approach to product development where multi-skilled teams can leverage their unique talents can lead to successful products which satisfy business and user needs.
